Small Animal Exams

In-Home Comprehensive Examinations

A thorough, nose-to-tail physical exam is the most important step you can take to ensure your pet’s well-being and long-term health—all from the comfort of home, where your pet is calmest. Routine exams are key to preventing illness, establishing a baseline of health, and catching subtle changes early.

During every exam we evaluate:

  • Ears: Inside and out for parasites, abnormalities, and hearing

  • Eyes: For visual acuity, abnormalities, and related health issues

  • Mouth: Teeth, gums, tongue, palate, and related health issues

  • Heart and Lungs: Early signs of disease, age-related changes, and developmental abnormalities

  • Reproductive Organs: For developmental abnormalities and related health issue

  • Skin and Coat: General health, abnormalities, and signs of infection or disease

  • Joints and muscles: For signs of arthritis, swelling, atrophy, or discomfort

  • Vital Statistics: Temperature, pulse, heart rate, respiration, and body weight

We recommend a yearly physical examination for your pet, helping keep them healthy and happy without the stress of a clinic visit.
